If you are lucky enought to get your hands on the closed 3.25 beta of VRayforC4D
you might like what we've quickly prepped.
At the moment in order to used the beta version you have two options:
either manuallly copy it in the plugins folder and remove the current one
or copy the whole installation folder and have the different version separated that way
I didn't want to copy the whole C4D folder,
so we prepared two small but handy scripts.
What they do:
Move the beta version inside the plugins folder
Move out the current production version out of the plugins folder
What you have to do:
Extract the files from the "powershell_scripts" archive and place them in the C:\Windows folder
Copy the shortcuts wherever you want
What will happen:
The selected version get moved into the plugins, so you can work with it
The version in the plugins folder gets moved outside in the c4d root folder, so it doesn't get loaded
Important:
you must not have renamed the VRay folders otherwise the scripts won't be able to located them.
Original folder names: production version VrayBridge_R15_140910 current beta version VrayBridge_R16_V3_150727
Hope this is useful to you too and please let me know what you think could be improved.
